Welcome to Challenge Hogwart's! Challenge Hogwart's is a Survivor style game with a twist. You'll be playing a Survivor game within a game of Clue. Here is how each round format will take place.
Phase 1 : A dice roll will take place to determine each student's location within the castle. There are 9 different room locations as well as corridors.
Phase 2 : The "Dark Mark" will appear over the castle. Dark Marks that appear over the castle will inflict damage on students unless they possess spells or allies that protect them. Spells and allies are obtained through possession of "Help Cards"
Phase 3 : An Immunity Challenge will take place. In addition to either House Immunity or Individual Immunity, students will be given the opportunity to win either Clue Cards or Help Cards which will aid them in their progress throughout the game.
Phase 4 : Dumbledore's Office. Every round, each student will be given the opportunity to enter Dumbledore's office before the Expulsion Session takes place in order to make an accusation of "whodunnit". Guess correctly and you will be rewarded. Guess incorrectly, and you may not make a guess for the duration of the rest of the game.
**See the post regarding Dumbledore's Office below for exceptions***
Phase 5 : An Expulsion Session will take place and at least one student will be eliminated from the game.

Phase 1 : Room LocationsAs stated in the previous description, Phase 1 of each round will consist of a dice roll that will take place and each student will have their placement in the castle determined from this roll. Before each Immunity Challenge , all students will be invited to a group chat and the dice roll will take place in that group chat. If you are not present for the group chat, I will roll your dice for you. The chat archive / or record will be posted into Owl Mail once all rolls have taken place. The room locations are as follows :2. The Corridors 3. Defense Against the Dark Arts 4. The Divination Classroom 5. The Great Hall 6. The Hospital Wing 7. The Library 8. The Owlery 9. The Potions Classroom 10. The Room of Requirement 11. The Trophy Room 12. Re-roll dice for room assignment / Receive Help Card ***There is no room assignment for a roll of 1 since it is impossible to roll a 1 with two dice.

Phase 2 : The Dark Mark Each round in Phase 2, The Dark Mark will appear above the castle. The Dark Mark inflicts damage to students in the form of points or other punishments such as giving up spells, items, or allies. At the beginning of the game, each student will start out with a set number of points. Here is an example of a Dark Mark Card... The top area of each Dark Mark Card will identify its potential victims. The middle area of each Dark Mark Card identifies what the Dark Mark actually is. In the bottom area of each Dark Mark Card, it identifies the amount of damage to be inflicted on each student in the area targeted and last but not least, it will list a Help Card(s) that will deflect damage if the player is in posession of that specific Help Card. Damages will not take place each round until all challenges and tasks have been completed.

Phase 3 : Clue Cards and Help Cards Phase 3 of each round consists either team immunity or individual immunity challenges. The top performers for challenges will be granted the reward of receiving Clue Cards regardless of what team they are on. This means that even though you may be on a losing house, you can still collect advantages for yourself as the game progresses. The order in which these Clue Cards will be distributed have been pre-determined thru www.random.org. Clue Cards : Clue Cards are just like they are in the game of "Clue". They come in the form of suspect cards, weapon cards and location cards and will aid you in the process of elimination and hopefully to a successful accusation in Dumbledore's Office. The Clue Cards are as follows :Suspects1. Bellatrix Lestrange 2. Draco Malfoy 3. Lucius Malfoy 4. Crabbe and Goyle 5. Peter Pettigrew 6. Dolores Umbridge Weapons 1. Impedimenta 2. Mandrake 3. Petrificalus Totalus 4. Portkey 5. Sleeping Draught 6. Vanishing Cabinet Locations1. Defense Against the Dark Arts 2. The Divination Classroom 3. The Great Hall 4. The Hospital Wing 5. The Library 6. The Owlery 7. The Potions Classroom 8. The Room of Requirement 9. The Trophy Room Help Cards : Help cards take the form of either allies or spells and are obtained through pre-determined means. Help cards will aid students by deflecting potential damage that may come from Dark Marks throughout the game. Some examples of Help Cards are as follows : One final note regarding Clue and Help Cards - obviously you may share information regarding the Clue Cards and you may also share information regarding your Help Cards if desired, HOWEVER, you may NOT pass Help Cards or Clue Cards to another player at any time during the game.

Phase 4 : Dumbledore's Office At the start of this game one suspect card, one weapon card, and one location card have each been safely sealed away. Your goal in Dumbledore's Office is to correctly identify those same three cards. Each round, students will be given the opportunity to visit Dumbledore's Office. In order to keep guesses private from other students, each of you will have a thread titled "Dumbledore's Office" in your confessional. Based on your beliefs of "Whodunnit", you may make an accusation for who you think committed a heinous murder, but BEWARE! Guess incorrectly and you will be eliminated from making further guesses. The only exception to this is if someone in the game makes a correct accusation. When a correct accusation has been made, it will be announced, however, it will not be announced as to which student made the correct accusation.
Once a correct accusation has been made (or even incorrect) for that matter, you will be notified privately in your confessional. If someone is correct, it will put into play a new set of "Whodunnit" and everyone may again make accusations. At this time, a new set of cards are sealed away and all previous Clue Cards obtained by players are voided. A new distribution order for Clue Cards will begin. ALL ACCUSATIONS MUST BE MADE NO LATER THAN 1 HOUR BEFORE A GIVEN EXPULSION SESSION DEADLINE!
If two students make the same correct accusation, obviously the one that submitted first will take precedence.
Good luck in making your guesses!
