General Rules
1. All students are required to be active in the game. Each round, students will be required to make a one paragraph confessional post, answer their Expulsion Questions and to vote on time. Failure to do any one of these tasks will result in a self-vote / strike against them. Self-votes / Strikes will be made public knowledge! Receive 3 self-votes / strikes and you will automatically be eliminated from the game.
2. All students are asked to respect the other players. Attacks on the board which delve into a players personal life will not be tolerated and will result in an immediate expulsion.
3. There are several challenges that will be held live over AIM. AIM isn't just preferred to have...it's a requirement.
4. Cross-communication is virtually impossible to control / enforce and will therefore be allowed and actually... *gulp* encouraged.
Game Rules
1. Each Student will begin the game with 100 HP points.
2. Damages inflicted by the Dark Mark will not resolve until after Challenges are completed.
3. I will provide a detailed table of each Student's location within Hogwarts for each round as well as each Student's current point standings in the game. Self-votes / Strikes will be made public.
4. If at any time during the game, your point total falls below 30 (pre-merge), you will automatically attend Expulsion regardless of whether or not your team won Immunity!
5. All Expulsion Sessions will allow for roughly a 24 hour time frame in which to vote unless otherwise stated. You may decide to change your vote, but you MAY NOT EDIT your votes. If you wish to change your vote to another student, you will need to make a new post. It is imperitive that you adhere to this. If you edit your vote, you will receive a self-vote / strike. You may only change your vote up to one hour before the Expulsion deadline. If you change your vote in that one hour before the Expulsion Deadline, again you will receive a self-vote / strike.
6. Tie Votes in Expulsions : In the interest of keeping the game moving and avoiding the limbo of Expulsions that never end, tie votes will be broken by the following methods:
a) Self votes
b) Past votes
c) Point Standing
d) Last but not least, if the votes still cannot be resolved, a group chat will be set up where players will roll dice where a Purple Rock # will be given and the first person to roll that number will be eliminated. The roll order will be determined thru www.random.org
7. All aspects of this game have been pre-determined, but as we all know, no matter how much I try to cover for every circumstance, there may be gray areas that occur. Any decisions that are made if these are to arise, will be determined by me and all decisions are final. Please respect them.
8. Have fun!
